Amy and Chris

One of the things I love most about photographing weddings is that I never know what to expect. Everything is so meticulously planned, yet un-predictable…all at the same time. Being a great photographer not only means being able to relate from a 2 year-old to a 92 year-old, but we also have to be a planner, a shoulder to cry on and aware of any given situation at all times. In other words, attention to detail is a must, all while remaining “as cool as a cucumber” (this is me by the way)-

Which brings me to my funky bride Amy’s story. The ceremony was supposed to be at the top of Wachusett Mountain. September was a gorgeous month weather-wise. It only rained a few times out of the whole month. Guess what?! It rained on Amy’s day.

Some people would get “upset” over the weather situation. Hey, take it easy guys-

Not Amy, she had a smile on her face the whole time. The weather didn’t matter. How much are you lovin’ her hat right now?!-

Strike a pose! Love the tea-length dress and…

RED shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy’s brother Ryan was such a big help to me with the umbrella. Thanks Ryan!

Le Groom Chris

Anticipation-

I worship magazines like Vogue and Vanity Fair for the fashion photography. Whenever I saw this picture, I screamed!!!!!!!!!!!

So back to my story abouth the weather. Just because it rains on your wedding day, doesn’t mean things aren’t going to work out. In fact, the rain can work in your favor. As it did on Amy’s day. One of her bridesmaids bought umbrellas for Amy and the girls. Because it rained, this is what I was able to get-

So you see that the rain can end up being something spectacular as long as you have an open mind-

Amy and Chris…lovin life!-
